Representatives of the Institute for Applied Research for Business (IARB), Dr Aneta V. Shikaleska and Dr Biljana Gjozinska, took part in the international training course organized within the Erasmus+ Youth 2023 – Capacity Building in the Field of Youth – Western Balkans project “With Digitalisation Versus Corruption.” The training was held in Tuzla (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 23 to 28 of July, 2025.

Hosted by Akustikum (BiH) at the Peace Flame House in Tuzla, the six-day training brought together experts, activists and youth workers from across Europe to explore:

  • Legal and ethical aspects of whistleblower protection
  • The role of youth in combating corruption
  • ICT tools for transparency and digital activism

Dr Biljana Gjozinska also contributed as a trainer by delivering a powerful workshop titled “Whistleblowing: Speaking Up for Integrity,” engaging participants in honest dialogue and practical tools to empower youth to take a stand for accountability.
The project is co-funded by the European Union, with the Institute participating as an official project partner.
