The paper "Green Jobs and Skills in the Context of Sustainable Development" (original in Serbian: "Zeleni poslovi i veštine u kontekstu održivog razvoja", with an English abstract) gives an overview of how green jobs and green skills are defined and identified, and follows the development of the key indicators of the environmental economy in European Union countries. It is written by Prof. Dr Aneta Vasiljevikj-Shikaleska, Prof. Dr Biljana Gjozinska and Prof. Dr Adrijana Bulevska Zarikj of the Institute for Applied Research for Business.

Green jobs are found in many sectors: sustainable agriculture and forestry, renewable energy, waste management and recycling, climate adaptation, energy efficiency, sustainable transport and construction. In the International Labour Organization's words, they are jobs that "help preserve or restore the environment". The paper analyses the production and export of environmental goods and services, related employment and gross value added, using Eurostat data for 2000–2020.
