    We are inspired by the complex challenges facing community, industry and government today. Our approach is team-based: our research fellows collaborate with external experts in different fields, in to identify, frame and address live policy or business issues. Our problem-solving approach involves using advanced research tools and techniques, methods and models to envision fair, promising and feasible futures.
    Furthermore, our Institute aims to combine the priorities of different programmes to upskill young people with required skills and experiences so that their potentials will be enhanced and they will have the knowledge and self-confidence to be able to compete effectively in demanding labor market.

This study deals with the analysis of awareness of the wider public audience for the climate changes and the promotion of environmental education in terms of changing attitudes and responsible socio-ecological behavior.

Ecoforum: Let’s talk about sustainability (Institute for Applied Research for Business, Academy for Business Economy, University of Shkodra “Luigj Gurakuqi”)

This project aims to study the current state of the implementation process of environmental policies in companies in the countries of the Western Balkan and to identify whether their implementation depends on national specifics in terms of economic development, businesses and public awareness, as well as on the existing legislations in the respective country. The research intertwined experiences from three different sectors: businesses, civil society organizations and policy makers.

Drivers and barriers for Circular Economy implementation in the business sector (Institute for Applied Research for Business, University of Shkodra "Luigj Gurakuqi", the College of Service Business Sokolac – East Sarajevo, Institute of Technology and Business in České Budějovice, Academy for Business Economy, University of Ljubljana)

By sharing knowledge and practices regarding the activities undertaken by SMEs to accelerate the transition to "greener" businesses in their country, the results from this study will enable the wider audience to gain significant insights into the level of implementation of circular practices in the business sector in different European countries.
