Aneta Vasiljevich Sikaleska

Aneta Vasiljevich Sikaleska is a Doctor of Science in technological sciences and a Scientific Advisor/Full Professor at the Institute for Applied Research for Business, where she is also one of the founding members.

Dr. Vasiljevikj-Shikaleska has 18 years of experience in higher education, as a professor on the courses Mathematics and Statistics for Economists, as well as courses in the field of Ecological Economics, Sustainable Development, and Quality Management.

Her scientific interest is focused on circular economy, environmental protection and the development of new technologies and materials. For over two decades, she has been actively engaged in numerous research and applied projects, with significant experience in the fields of new materials, circular economy, waste management, and the use of renewable energy sources, as well as the application of innovative approaches in higher education across Europe.

Dr. Vasiljevikj-Shikaleska has experience as project coordinator of several international Erasmus+ projects in the field of education, as well as of projects related to waste management and the utilization of waste as a renewable energy source, funded by the World Bank. She was also a substitute member of the management committee of two COST projects in the areas of nanomaterials and sustainable food packaging.

She has been actively involved in developing curricula for the course Economics of Sustainability and is co-author of three chapters in the university textbook of the same name, published by the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland.

Dr. Vasiljevikj-Shikaleska is a licensed expert witness in the field of technological engineering, certified by the Ministry of Justice, and is also the inventor and holder of a patent registered with the State Office of Industrial Property Protection.
