Aneta Vasiljevich Sikaleska is a Doctor of Science in the field of Technological Sciences and Senior Research Scientist/Associate Professor at the Institute for Applied Research for Business.
She has 17 years of experience in higher education in the field of environmental economics and sustainable development. The scientific focus of her interest is in the field of environmental protection, circular economy and new technologies and materials. For more than 20 years, he has actively participated in many research and application projects and has considerable experience in the field of new technologies and materials, waste and waste management, circular economy, as well as in the field of education and application of new learning practices in higher education institutions in Europe. Dr. Vasiljevic-Sikaleska has experience as a project coordinator of several international Erasmus+ projects and a project in the field of Waste Management and the use of waste as a renewable energy source, financed by the World Bank. Within the Erasmus+ project, she participated in the development of the curricula for the course Economics of Sustainability and is the co-author of three chapters in the book dedicated to Economics of Sustainability and published by the University of Economics in Katowice, Poland. The chapters are titled as 1) Circular Economy, 2) Waste Management and 3) Poverty and Hunger. Dr. Aneta Vasiljevic-Sikaleska has experience in two COST projects that were dealing with nano materials and sustainable food packaging and has a license for expert in the field of technological sciences, issued by the Ministry of Justice.
