Ljubljana, 3 September 2025 – The Association EPEKA, so.p., presented the international project Digital vs Corrupt at the 23rd LUPA Festival of NGOs. The project brings together partners from several European countries and tackles the problem of corruption with digital solutions and the active involvement of young people.
Corruption represents one of the greatest challenges of modern societies, as it reduces trust in institutions, hinders economic development, and undermines democracy. The Digital vs Corrupt project therefore strengthens transparency, accountability, and active citizenship, with young people serving as a key driving force for change.
The project includes:
- training young people in digital literacy, ethics, and transparency,
- developing digital tools to monitor and prevent corruption,
- promoting international cooperation and the exchange of good practices,
- awareness-raising activities on the consequences of corruption.
The presentation at the LUPA Festival highlighted that the issue of corruption is highly relevant, and visitors’ responses showed great interest in involving young people in tackling this challenge.
“Young people have the energy, creativity, and knowledge to become key actors in the fight against corruption. By using digital solutions, we are building the foundations for a more open and fair society,” emphasized the Association EPEKA, so.p. during the presentation.
The Digital vs Corrupt project is co-financed within European programs supporting youth, innovation, and the promotion of democratic values.
