The Institute for Applied Research in Business from Skopje, as one of the 14 partners in the international project DigitalVScorrupt, is actively involved in numerous activities aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, and integrity in society. The Institute’s specific focus is on the topic “Corruption and Business,” exploring and enhancing the role of the private sector in combating corruption and promoting ethical standards.
The project emphasizes the importance of digitalization and innovative approaches as essential tools in the fight against corruption in modern society, with a special focus on young people and their role in promoting European values and the rule of law.
As part of the ongoing activities, the Institute is developing Тraining materials to be used in non-formal education, helping young people and youth workers build awareness and personal responsibility in addressing corruption. Alongside this, a Мanual for reporting corruption in the business sector is being prepared, which will serve as a practical tool for organizations, institutions, and individuals in handling corruption cases.
These materials will contribute to the sustainability and practical application of the project’s results, and will be publicly available on the project website https://digitalvscorrupt.akustikum.org
Additionally, a local workshop on “Whistleblower Protection” is currently being organized, which – as with previous events – is expected to attract great interest and active participation from youth workers and other relevant stakeholders.

The project is co-funded by the EU’s Erasmus+ programme.
