From 20 to 25 October 2025, a project team from the Institute for Applied Research in Business participated in the five-day learning, teaching, and training event “Digitally Empowered Wonder Learning”, held in Vienna, Austria, within the framework of the Erasmus+ project “Wonder Learning for Digital Natives.”
The training, organized by Primera: Zentrum für Pädagogische Fortbildung Vienna, brought together educators and partners from North Macedonia, Türkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania, Romania, Austria, and Portugal. The event focused on developing innovative and digital pedagogical skills and on empowering educators to create inclusive and inspiring learning environments that nurture students’ curiosity and creativity.
Throughout the program, participants explored topics such as creative thinking, the use of artificial intelligence in education, and digital safety. When integrating technology into teaching, the focus was not merely on using devices and applications, but on achieving the five learning goals of the Wonder Learning methodology: connecting, communicating, curating, collaborating, and creating.
The event also included various educational and cultural activities, including a visit to the United Nations Office in Vienna, where participants attended a session on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The stay in Vienna provided new partnerships, inspiration, and ideas for fostering modern, digital, and inclusive education.
