The Institute for Applied Research for Business is pleased to invite you to participate in the current trainings intended for teachers, psychologists and pedagogues from the primary and secondary schools. These trainings are an excellent opportunity for the staff involved in the educational process in the schools to enrich and strengthen their skills and thereby contribute to their continuous professional development.

Currently, the Institute organizes the following trainings:

1. PEER VIOLENCE: EARLY RECOGNITION AND STRATEGIES FOR PREVENTION AND HANDLING

Date: May 11, 18.00-19.30 h, online, ZOOM platform
Lecturer: Dr. Biljana ARIZANKOSKA EFTIMOVA

Description: Although peer violence is not the only type of violence that children and young people are exposed to in the school environment, it is one of the more common forms of violence experienced by some students. In order to effectively prevent this problem, it is necessary for the staff in the schools (professional services and teachers) to acquire skills on the types and forms of domestic violence in the school, early recognition and preventive strategies to prevent it.
Lecturer: Dr. Biljana Arizankoska Eftimova is a psychiatrist, employed at the Mental Health Service for Children and Youth "Mladost" at PHI Zdravstven Dom Skopje. Since 2021, Dr. Arizankoska Eftimova is the head of the same service.

2. CREATING CONDITIONS FOR EFFECTIVE VERBAL AND NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION IN THE CLASSROOM

Lecturer: Dr. Magdalena ANDONOVSKA

Description: Communication is the basis of conversation. A two-way street that we pass through everyday. We speak verbally. And we understand each other non-verbally. How well do we understand each other and do we communicate with each other? With our superiors and with the children? The classroom is the place where we speak, understand, but also remain silent. And of course we communicate.
Lecturer: Dr. Magdalena Andonovska, Doctor of Public Administration with specialization in media. Dr. Andonovska has many years of experience in higher education and as an expert in public relations and communications.

3. STRENGTHENING THE CAPACITIES OF EMPLOYEES AND SCHOOLS THROUGH THE APPLICATION AND PARTICIPATION OF EU PROJECTS

Date: May 25, 18.00-19.30 h, online
Lecturers: Prof. Dr. Aneta VASILJEVIĆ-ŠIKALESKA and prof. Dr. Biljana GJOZINSKA

Description: The purpose of the training is to transfer knowledge and practical experience to the employees in the schools about the application and participation in European projects. During the training, long-term experiences and knowledge will be shared by the lecturers about the opportunities offered by participation in EU projects. The training will be interdisciplinary, practical and with the full involvement of the participants for the course and development of a specific project application. Participation in such training will have an overall positive effect on the individual professional development of school employees, and thus on the capacity of the respective institution.
Lecturer: Prof. Dr. Aneta Vasiljevikj - Shikaleska and prof. Dr. Biljana Gjozinska are professors with many years of experience in the educational process and extensive experience in writing, applying and participating in European projects. The lecturers have a detailed knowledge of the European grant programs, of the overall work process of the projects and how to have the greatest benefit from them both for the employees and for the institution.

• The price for participation in one training for one person is 500 denars.
• The price for participation in the two trainings for one person is 900 denars.
• The price for participating in the three trainings for one person is 1300 denars.
