
If your company has more than 10 employees, then
according to the Law on the Protection of Whistleblowers, it has obligations
to take certain actions. Sanctions are foreseen for the companies and the
responsible persons as well for non-compliance with the respective Law.

Aim of the training
The main aim of the training is to familiarize the
companies with the obligations arising from the Whistleblower Protection
Law. According to this law, the companies with more than 10 employees have a
basic obligation to appoint an authorized person in the company to receive
reports from whistleblowers. The participants will get knowledge about the
ways of fulfilling the legal obligations of the companies in the area of
protected reporting and the consequences of their omission, fulfilling the
legal obligation to draw up internal acts, consequences in case of
disclosure of the protected data and the identity of the whistleblower,
court proceedings and compensation for damages in case of violation of the
whistleblower's rights.
Lecturers
Prof. Dr. Gjorgi Slamkov is a
university professor and expert in the field of anti-corruption policies and
the rule of law. He has expert experience in several national and
international projects in the area of anti-corruption. Dr. Slamkov is the
former president of the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption
and the former president of the Agency for the Protection of the Right to
Free Access to Public Information.
Mark Worth is the CEO of
Whistleblowing International and has been one of the leading international
experts working on the topic of Whistleblower Protection for more than 35
years. He is a legal advisor and trainer at the United Nations, the European
Union, the Council of Europe and other international organizations on issues
related to the protection of whistleblowers. Mr. Worth is an advisor to many
states in the process of establishing and implementing the Whistleblower
Protection Laws.
Implementation method
The training will be conducted online, through the ZOOM platform, for which
each participant must have an electronic device (computer, tablet,
mobile).
Price and payment method
The price for participation in the training for one person is 4000 denars.
Payment is made on the basis of a pro-invoice no later than December 12,
2022. Each student will receive a certificate of participation and materials
from the training. Registration deadline for the training is
December 10, 2022.
