
The Institute for Applied Business Research
held a tailor-made training on "Inclusion in Preschool Institutions" for
employees of kindergartens and early development centers.
The purpose of the training was to strengthen the
competencies of the various professional profiles working in preschool
education in terms of their skills for better organization and
implementation of inclusive educational work.
In order to achieve the goals and tasks of preschool education through the
prism of inclusion, the training participants got acquainted with the laws
of mental development as well as the mental structure of children of
preschool age, acquired knowledge and skills for applying various creative
models of work with children and cooperation with families, as well as ways
of dealing with the daily challenges they encounter during work in
kindergartens.
The training was organized online and the lecturer
was Dr. Biljana Arizankoska Eftimova, a psychiatrist at the Mental
Health Service for Children and Youth "Mladost" at PHI Zdravstven Dom
Skopje, and from 2021 the head of the same. Dr. Biljana Arizankoska Eftimova
is an external collaborator of the Organization of Women from Strumica in
the field of violence against women and children, is a member of a
multi-sectoral team against gender-based violence and is a member of the
European Association for Science and Technology (COST) and the Association
for child and adolescent psychiatry at MPD. She is an active participant in
numerous international and domestic conferences and congresses in order to
continuously upgrade knowledge and follow world trends and protocols in
terms of prevention, diagnostics and treatment of metal health
disorders.
Those present at the training acquired an appropriate Certificate.
